Adobe CC Projects

For my Illustrator assignment in my graphic design class, I created a 5×7 menu for “Sweetisfy,” a fictional bakery. The menu features a clean design with a focus on repetition and contrast, using a limited color palette of three colors. Each item on the menu includes a title, price, and description, designed with no more than three typefaces and incorporating different styles within those typefaces for variety. I also designed custom icons and graphic elements using Illustrator to enhance the visual appeal and organization of the menu. The design reflects Sweetisfy’s brand identity with its logo prominently displayed, ensuring a cohesive and inviting menu presentation.
For my graphic design class, we were challenged to create a 5×7 typographic invitation using InDesign, focusing on proximity and alignment. The invitation had to use only one or two colors and no more than three typefaces, with no photos or type effects like skewing or drop shadows. We could use lines and shapes to organize the page visually, ensuring a clear hierarchy. I chose to design a wedding invitation, incorporating all necessary details such as the event name, purpose, time, location, and RSVP information.
For my graphic design project, I created a poster for the fictitious event “Sunset Hike Fellowship.” The 11×17 vertical poster features expressive typography as the focal point, capturing the essence of outdoor adventure and community. Hand-lettered and bold dynamic type was used to convey the event’s theme, emphasizing fellowship and nature. The design ensures clear hierarchy with key details such as event name, date, and location prominently displayed for easy readability and impact.
For the accompanying social media posts, I designed three 3×3 square graphics that echo elements from the poster to maintain visual continuity and reinforce the event’s theme. Each post highlights different aspects such as the scenic sunset views, hiking trails, and community gathering, ensuring repetition and cohesive branding across platforms. This approach not only enhances engagement but also extends the event’s reach and reinforces its message within the guidelines of Liberty University’s Liberty Way.
For my Photoshop project in graphic design class, I crafted a podcast cover titled “Jetset Journeys,” reflecting my passion for travel. Using Photoshop, I manipulated an airplane image to evoke a sense of adventure, adjusting colors and integrating it seamlessly with a dynamic background for visual contrast. The podcast name was designed with two distinct typefaces that convey excitement and exploration, ensuring it stands out against the backdrop. This project not only honed my Photoshop skills in image manipulation but also highlighted the pivotal role of typography in creating compelling visual identities for digital media.
For my Photoshop assignment, I created a mockup of a coffee cup adorned with a pattern I designed. Using Photoshop, I seamlessly integrated the pattern onto the coffee cup, adjusting colors and proportions to achieve a cohesive and visually appealing look. This project allowed me to explore my creativity in digital design while honing my skills in pattern creation and application, illustrating the versatility of Photoshop in product mockups and visual presentations.
In my recent project using InDesign, I created a visually striking quote by Eleanor Roosevelt that emphasizes contrast through the use of blue and yellow hues. The quote is presented with careful consideration of typography, employing the right typefaces to enhance readability and aesthetic appeal. By juxtaposing bold and elegant fonts, I aimed to convey the depth and significance of Roosevelt’s words while ensuring visual harmony with the chosen color palette. This project not only allowed me to explore the creative possibilities of InDesign but also reinforced the impact of effective typography and color contrast in graphic design.
In my graphic design class, I tackled the challenge of creating “Against the Clock” chapters using various Adobe platforms. Each chapter was meticulously designed to explore different Adobe tools and techniques under time constraints, reflecting my proficiency and creativity across Adobe software. From Photoshop and Illustrator to InDesign and Premiere Pro, each platform allowed me to demonstrate my ability to execute design concepts efficiently while meeting specific project objectives. This project not only sharpened my skills in digital design and multimedia production but also reinforced my understanding of how Adobe’s suite of tools can be integrated seamlessly to create cohesive and visually compelling chapters.
